Would it help Obama's election if he....?

It would help by withdrawing troops from Afghanistan and would be a very smart move. For closing GITMO, It is not possible to close it by Oct. 2012 although it would help his rating. If the economy still remains in shambles, I personally do not believe he will be re-elected.
