My Mom's making me sell my rooster. how can I deal with the pain?

My moms making my sell my rooster whom is named after Paul McCartney tomorrow. He's really special to me. I don't know what to do. Im going to miss him too much. It's also the one month anniversary of the death of my dog. how can i deal with the pain?
